Tips for choosing colors

• Pick a variety of medium scale prints, blending fabrics, and small print fabrics for your patchwork blocks. This is also a great project for flannels or batiks.
• A solid neutral fabric for the sashing/inner border strips simplifies all the prints.
• Coordinating darker colored cornerstones and outer border is great for contrast and unity throughout the quilt.
